Songwriters Night at Rainbow Theater, hosted by Weston Ripps, is a monthly showcase dedicated to original music. Weston kicks off each evening with one or two of his own songs, then the stage opens up to local and regional songwriters who’ve signed up to perform. The only rule: every song must be an original—no covers allowed.
Part open mic, part listening room, this series celebrates creativity and gives artists the chance to share their own music in front of an attentive, supportive crowd. It’s the perfect stage for performers who usually play cover sets to finally showcase their writing, and for new songwriters to take the leap and perform live.
